Duracell Lithium Deep Cycle Battery

DRB100LFP

Regular price $899.99

A reliable, long-lasting energy storage device.

Direct replacement for Deep Cycle SLA batteries.

Designed to last up to 6000 cycles, at which point it will still hold 75-80% of its energy capacity.

Low self-discharge rate means that even occasional users can still be assured that the battery will remain charged for when you need energy most.

Saves money over time
more usable energy and much longer lifespan make it less costly per watt than traditional SLA

Designed for long-lasting and reliable energy storage, the Duracell 100 Ah 12.8 Volt LFP battery is perfect for the off-grid lifestyle. Lighter, more durable, and with a more usable energy capacity and longer lifespan than a traditional Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery, it’s an invaluable part of a power system for a remote structure, RV, travel van, or boat with a trolling motor. Duracell LFP batteries require practically no maintenance and last up to 10 times longer than their Lead Acid counterparts. They also stay charged longer and lose less energy over time than Lead Acid batteries, giving you more power to achieve your adventure.

For the Off-Grid Lifestyle

Requiring virtually no maintenance and lasting significcantly longer than a Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery, the Duracell 100 Ah 12.8 Volt LFP battery can be an integral part of an off-grid power system. Easily recharged using solar panels (such as Duracell 100W or 200W Portable Solar Panels), you can work, build, or explore any destination and have the power to make it feel like home, all while reducing your carbon footprint.

Reliable Power for Boating

Energy dense and maintenance free, Duracell LFP batteries are a great choice for powering your trolling motor or onboard electrical devices (not for use as a starting battery). With a lower electrical resistance than SLA batteries, LFP batteries can supply a higher current to your power system which is crucial for running refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other power-hungry appliances, making them perfect for long excursions and living aboard. LFP batteries are also far lighter than a comparable SLA battery, allowing boat owners to lighten their load while keeping the same amount of energy storage.

Great for RVs and Trailers

Enjoy your road adventure with less stress and more time to keep lights on, charge your devices and run your fridge. Use multiple devices and appliances at once, limited only by your RV's inverter power capacity. And Duracell's LFP batteries are more temperature tolerant than SLA batteries, so you can set up in desert heat, mountain snow, or wherever the road takes you.

General Questions

No, this battery is NOT designed with the cold crank output needed to be an effective engine starting battery. This battery is designed to be a long lasting, reliable energy storage device.

The only reason to wire multiple batteries in series is to increase the voltage output to meet the requirements of your system. This 12V battery can be combined with other lithium batteries in series to achieve 24V (2 batteries in series) or 48V (4 batteries in series). Do not connect more than 4 batteries together in parallel or series.

It is designed to last 3000-5000 charge cycles while maintaining 80% of its usable capacity. Under normal conditions, this means your battery will provide 10 or more years of service.

Yes, this battery is fully sealed and can be mounted in any position.

Yes, this battery 's housing has an IP65 rating which will protect from dirt, dust, and temporary exposure to water. Do not submerge the battery in water.

This battery is rated for safe storage at temperatures between -5°(23 °F) -45°(113 °F). It can be used in cold temperatures down to -20°(-4 °F), but it cannot be recharged in temperatures below 0° (3 °F). Prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures may damage the cells and reduce your battery's functional life.

The battery is rated at 100 Amps, so the max you can draw is 100 Amps.

Yes but: You will need to confirm your system has a DC-to-DC charger in between your alternator and battery system. DC to DC charger is needed to regulate the amperage output of your alternator in order to protect your alternator from a potentially dangerous over current draw. Please contact our customer service team if you have additional questions about charging from your system, info@duracellpower.com.
